The Local Organising Committee of IHS and WU will host the conference on the beautiful modern campus at WU Vienna, supported by the Austrian National Public Health Institute (GÖG).

IHS

The Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS) was founded in 1963 by Oskar Morgenstern and Paul Lazarsfeld and is an independent, non-profit, post-university research institute that focuses on applied, societally relevant research. The Health Economics and Health Policy Research Group was one of the first research units in this field in Austria. The institute is also the current headquarters of the Austrian Health Economics Association (ATHEA).

WU

The Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) was founded in 1898 and is the largest business school in Europe. The Department of Health Economics and Policy is dedicated to national and international research and teaching in the field of health and health care economics and policy.

GÖG

The Austrian National Public Health Institute (GÖG) is the national planning and research institute for health care and a competence and promotion centre for health advocacy in Austria. It is the largest research institute in this field.
